Intespace 30th anniversary

Thirty years and feeling great !...

Along with wishing you an excellent 2014, I would like to take this opportunity to look back on one of the highlights of 2013. Last year we were delighted to celebrate our 30th anniversary with all of our employees in Toulouse and Elancourt as well as with our subsidiary Intespace BV and our clients and partners. This friendly gathering gave us a unique occasion to fully appreciate the excellent relationships we have forged with the space and aeronautics community as a whole, as well testifying to the enduring links we have cultivated with our clients worldwide. We were sincerely touched to see that our friends from Korea, Kazakhstan and Brazil, to cite but a few, made the trip to share this happy event with us. We would like to thank you all and add that this has only confirmed our determination to invest whatever it takes to provide ever-higher quality of Intespace services.

Our thirty year anniversary celebration was also the ideal occasion to reflect on our development thus far and in the coming years. We have renewed our commitment to diversification, a keystone of our strategy and a policy that has enabled us to grow our business in aeronautics, defense, and now transportation. Our diversification strategy has also allowed us to expand our expertise upstream and downstream from testing, as well as helping us to export more and further afield. Naturally, the three development vectors are closely tied to Airbus with the A350 XWB, for which we are performing the mechanical and thermal tests, but also to embedded equipment, electric vehicles, and the rail industry. Space remains a pillar of our business while fostering new activities such as helping our clients to develop their own space testing center including engineering, training, and satellite testing assistance, among other activities.

In addition to meeting new people, exchanging ideas, and reconnecting with old friends, our anniversary celebration was also the opportunity to masthead our testing center, unique in Europe. In short, this very special event allowed us to bring together the entire space community. And as you all know, it is this community which makes Toulouse and the region the European space capital.

I sincerely hope that 2014 will be as rich in experiences and relationships as 2013. I wish you all a Happy New Year!
